The gap we saw in American youth sport

American youth sport is enormous, loved, and unregulated. There is no national standard for who coaches children, no inspection of the sessions they run, and no mark a parent can check before handing over their child and their money. Providers doing it right are indistinguishable — at the moment of choice — from providers doing it cheap. That's the problem accreditation exists to solve.

A membership body built for providers

YSPN is a professional body, not a certificate mill. Members get the standards library, independent observation, the parent-searched directory, first access to certified young coaches, and an operations arm that runs the parts of the business providers are bad at — behind people whose credentials are on the page.
