This policy sets out how Youth Sport Provider Network (“YSPN”, “we”) safeguards children across everything we do — the sector policy page required of any body in a youth sector.
Safeguarding is the non-negotiable tier of the YSPN standard. Failure against it is a suspension, not a finding.
Providers, staff and parents can report a concern about any member program to safeguarding@yspn.org. Reports are acknowledged same-day and handled by the named safeguarding lead.
Anything an observation surfaces that touches child safety routes directly to the safeguarding function — the accreditation mechanism and the safety response are separately owned.
